Julia Hall

Julia is a registered Pilates Teacher with Body Control Pilates Association (BCPA). She also has a medical and psychotherapeutic background, and is a practicing Dance Movement Psychotherapist and Occupational Therapist. During her training in Dance Julia was introduced to the classical Pilates repertoire, to prevent injury and develop core strength. The ethos of BCPA contributed to Julia’s decision to train with the organization: for Pilates to be accessible to all through adaptation of the classic exercise approach, and the integration of mind and body. BCPA registration requires a teacher portfolio of continued professional development, stipulating regular Pilates practice and training.

Julia also offers 1:1, small group, public/specific Pilates classes in a variety of locations. Hannah Plom

Hannah has been practicing Pilates since 1997, focussing on the Body Control Pilates method since 2003. Having experienced lower back pain, Hannah appreciates the importance of spinal mobilisation – her decision to train as a Pilates teacher came from this understanding and her desire to share the benefits, and her love, of Pilates with others. She started her teacher training at the prestigious Body Control Pilates (R) Centre in London in 2010, and now holds the Level 3 Advanced Pilates Teacher status with the Register of Exercise Professionals. She teaches a busy timetable of classes across Central Hampshire as Pilates with Aplomb Outside of Pilates, Hannah is a keen flute player, and has also worked for many years for the Hampshire Children's and School Library Services.
