|About the Club
We currently run 2 classes each
week on Tuesday evenings. Each class runs for one hour, the
early class starts at 4:45pm and the later class at 5:55pm.
Classes are held in the
Clubhouse or Sports Hall depending on availability. Class sizes
are limited to 12 people to facilitate good tuition and to
comply with insurance regulations.
Classes follow the school
term timetable with breaks for half-term and holidays. When there is
sufficient demand a class runs during the long summer vacation.
The classes are of mixed age
and ability. Newcomers are given an induction session prior to
joining a regular class. When demand is high it is sometimes
necessary to operate a waiting list for new joiners.
Normal classes involve floor mat
work, with occasional use of stretch bands and weights. All
equipment is supplied and participants are requested to help
with set-up and close down.
